Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker in Concord, MA. The role supports kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas.

You will clean equipment, transport supplies, and assist with basic set-up and break-down tasks as directed. The position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, and willingness to work varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures, to include basic concepts of food safety.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes by hand or uses a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks.
• Sweeps, mops, cleans and vacuums floors.
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas.
• Cleans equipment using chemicals to ensure sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and cleaning materials.
• Walks or stands for extended periods of time during shifts.
• Lift up to 35 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
