Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Utility Worker in the United States. You will support kitchen and facility operations by maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization in food production and service areas. Responsibilities include dishwashing, cleaning surfaces, restocking supplies, and lifting tasks as needed.

Expected shifts vary; full-time employment with a pay range of $15–$18 per hour. Benefits and training opportunities are available, with additional site-specific perks where applicable.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and basic food safety concepts.
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• No related work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes by hand or in a dishwashing machine.
• Clean and sanitize work tables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
• Sweep, mop, clean and vacuum floors; remove trash to designated areas.
• Clean equipment with appropriate chemicals to maintain sanitary standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap, towels, and cleaning materials.
• Walk significant distances or perform mobility-related tasks.
• Able to walk/stand for extended periods during shifts (potentially >8 hours).
• Lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Attend shifts on time; perform other duties as assigned.
