Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a Food Service Utility Worker for our school nutrition team. You’ll help keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly while supporting daily meal service for students.

Responsibilities include cleaning prep areas, sanitizing surfaces, receiving and organizing deliveries, and assisting with basic prep tasks. You’ll follow safety rules, stay active on your feet, and work with a positive, collaborative team.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; must complete training as required by Whitsons and government regulations.
• Some kitchen, food service, or janitorial experience is helpful; willingness to learn and follow detailed sanitation procedures is required.
• Food handling certification preferred; local food safety certification may be required in employment jurisdiction.

Mansioni

• Clean and sanitize prep areas, counters, and floors.
• Take out trash and keep storage areas tidy.
• Assist with receiving and organizing food deliveries.
• Support the kitchen team with basic prep tasks when needed.
• Follow safety and sanitation rules carefully.
• Stay positive and helpful even when it’s busy.
• Be active on your feet throughout the day.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
