Job summary

Whitsons Culinary Group is seeking a Utility - General Support to maintain sanitation and organization in the kitchen, dish room, storerooms, and serving areas. This role supports the food service team by performing dishwashing, pot washing, floor care, trash removal, and equipment cleaning throughout each shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; must complete all Whitsons and government-mandated training as required.
• Some prior kitchen/food service/janitorial experience helpful; willingness to learn detailed sanitation procedures.
• Food handling certification preferred; local food safety certification required in employment jurisdiction.
• Must be able to speak/read English; lift and move up to 50 pounds; maintain stamina for long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing, pot washing, and equipment sanitation duties.
• Maintain a clean, organized dish room, storerooms, and storage areas.
• Sweep, mop, and manage trash and recyclables; clean and sanitize work surfaces and floors.
• Stock and organize deliveries, walk-ins, and storage areas; report sanitation concerns.
• Follow Whitsons policies and safety regulations; participate in training.
• Work schedule aligns with facility operations; adherence to safe lifting and PPE rules.
