Qualifications

• Ideal candidate will have experience in a busy kitchen or food preparation area.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, prepping and washing dishware, silverware, glassware, pots and pans.
• Ensuring chemical dispensers are working and cleaning supplies adequate, using safety equipment to meet OSHA standards.
• Sweeping and mopping floors as directed.
• Emptying and cleaning garbage from kitchen to dumpster.
• Assisting with heavy lifting.
• Daily cleaning of steam kettle, grill, range tops, brazier, stainless steel surfaces, dish racks, dish storage areas, dishwasher and dishwashing area.
• Monthly cleaning of all kitchen surfaces, including walls, ceilings, stairs, tables, table legs and appliances.
• Assisting in the dining room, removing soiled dishes during meal service and returning them to the kitchen.
