Job summary

Team Schostak Family Restaurants is seeking a General Utility to maintain clean and orderly kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils. The role supports basic food preparation and helps uphold our core values as part of the TSFR Roadmap.

The position is mostly indoors with some outdoor duties, requiring ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment. Team collaboration and reliable attendance are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as contracts, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dirty dishes and places them in dishwashing machine (50%).
• Washes pots, pans and trays by hand and/or machine (15%).
• Completes all assigned prep work (10%).
• Removes trash and garbage to dumpster area (10%).
• Cleans work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment and floors (5%).
• Assembles, maintains and breaks down dish machine (5%).
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
