Job summary

TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants is seeking a General Utility to maintain kitchen areas, equipment and utensils in a clean, sanitary condition. Assist in basic food prep and support the TSFR Roadmap with core values in daily operations.

The role involves dishwashing, light prep, trash removal and on-site tasks in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
• Ability to solve practical problems with limited standardization.
• Must be able to lift and carry dish racks up to 40 pounds regularly.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and pre-rinses dirty dishes and loads them into the dishwasher.
• Washes pots, pans and trays by hand and/or machine.
• Completes all assigned prep work.
• Removes trash and garbage to dumpster area.
• Cleans work area tables, walls, equipment and floors.
• Assembles, maintains and breaks down dish machine.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
• Works indoors most of the time with some outdoor work.
• Responds to emergencies to ensure safety.
