Job summary

Compass Group is hiring for a Food Service Utility position in the Santa Clara area. The role supports kitchen operations with a full-time or part-time schedule, typically Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, at a Palo Alto Networks location in Santa Clara, CA. Prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas, assisting with setup and transportation of supplies, and ensuring safety and sanitation standards are met throughout the shift.

• Previous food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas and keeps equipment and utensils clean.
• Sweeps and mops floors to meet safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of waste in designated containers.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front-of-house setup.
• Loads/unloads and delivers supplies and product as needed.
• Distributes supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Follows sanitation and safety requirements and performs other duties as assigned.
