Job summary

Bon Appétit Management Company, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring immediately for a full-time Food Service Utility at Cafe Arbor in Palo Alto, California.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean work areas and equipment, washing surfaces, and assisting with setup and delivery of supplies. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM; pay is $22.00 to $24.00 per hour, plus eligible benefits and an internal employee referral bonus.

Qualifications

• Two years of dishwashing or kitchen preparation experience preferred.
• Full-time schedule; Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Maintains kitchen work areas, and keeps equipment and utensils clean and orderly.
• Sweeps and mops floors to comply with safety and sanitation standards.
• Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators, meat blocks and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and places it into designated containers; steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with banquet table and front of the house set up.
• Assist with loading or unloading and delivering supplies and product.
