Job summary

Isaac's Deli, Inc. is seeking kitchen team members to deliver an excellent guest experience while maintaining a sanitary, safe back-of-house. You will prep, cook and assemble menu items according to standard recipes and help keep the kitchen running smoothly.

No prior foodservice experience required; strong communication and teamwork are valued. Benefits include meal discounts, uniforms, gym reimbursement, health insurance and PTO at 30 hours, plus competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Some high school is required; ability to speak/read/write English and understand guests' languages.
• No prior foodservice experience required, but helpful.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Prep, cook, and slice menu items following standard recipes.
• Date, label, and rotate prepped items properly.
• Follow portion sizes, quality standards and safety rules.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly.
• Keep work area clean and sanitized; wipe and store items.
• Assist with dishwashing and other tasks as needed.
• Take and handle takeout orders over the phone.
• Understand the menu and pass the test with 75%+.
• Assist with inventory needs and supply requests daily.
