Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member in Illinois. No experience is required—we train you to handle deli prep, customer service, and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars during shifts.

You will prep salads, sandwiches, fruit cups, and more, following guides and safety standards, with opportunities for cross-training and career development.

• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds; work in various temperatures.

Responsabilidades

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Prepare deli products per designated preparation guides (salads, sandwiches, parfait cups).
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Maintenance, Leadership.

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
