Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is hiring a Kitchen Team Member in Nevada, Carlin. No experience required—we will train you to deliver friendly, high-quality service while keeping the deli area clean and well stocked.

You will learn to prepare a variety of deli items, follow preparation guides, and safely handle food. The role may involve cross-training in cashier or maintenance tasks and requires the ability to lift 25+ pounds in a dynamic environment.

• Ability to follow menus and preparation guides for deli items.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service at the deli and beverage areas.
• Prepare deli items such as salads, sandwiches, wraps, and fruit cups per guidelines.
• Maintain clean, stocked deli area and follow food safety procedures.
• Assist other departments as needed and may cross-train in cashier or maintenance roles.
• Lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures throughout shifts.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
