Job summary

Love's Travel Stops Ely, NV is looking for a Kitchen Team Member who will brighten customers' days with friendly service and help keep the deli area clean and well stocked.

No experience? No problem—we train you. You will prepare deli items, assist the store's cashier and cafe areas, follow food-safety procedures, and be ready to cross-train in other departments as needed. Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures is required.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting deli and cafe team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products such as salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches and wraps according to preparation guides.
• Follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions using required equipment.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in varied temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
