Love’s Travel Stops in Alabama is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly, fast service while keeping the deli area clean and stocked. No experience is required—we will train you and help you grow within a nationwide network.

You’ll prepare deli items, assist with café operations, follow food safety guidelines, and may cross-train in other roles. This on-site position offers competitive pay, benefits after 30 days, and tuition assistance to fuel your career growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is not required; training provided.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
