Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Mount Juliet, TN is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to deliver friendly customer service, prepare deli items, and maintain a clean, stocked deli area. You will interact with customers and teammates to ensure great food and a welcoming store environment.

No prior experience is required; we will train you. You must be able to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures, with benefits, scheduling flexibility, and opportunities for growth at Love's.

Qualifications

• Ability to move and lift 25+ pounds.
• Willingness to learn and follow food safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service and assist cashier team members with deli area duties.
• Prepare deli items per guidelines, including salads, sandwiches, wraps and parfait cups.
• Follow company policies to maintain food safety and cleanliness.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store/Cashier and Maintenance.
• Support the team in various temperatures and during shifts.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
