Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Charleston, TN is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to provide friendly customer service while preparing deli items and keeping a clean, stocked area. No experience? We will train you!

You will handle salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit cups, and beverages, follow food safety guidelines, and may cross-train in other roles. Lifting up to 25 pounds and working in varied temperatures are part of the job; We offer competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in maintaining deli areas.
• Accurately prepare deli products such as salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches and wraps per guides.
• Follow company food safety policies and procedures to maintain proper conditions.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store/Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Move and lift up to 25 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
