Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops welcomes you to join as a Kitchen Team Member. You will deliver friendly customer service, keep the deli area clean and stocked, and learn on the job with provided training. No experience is required, and we will teach you!

You’ll prepare deli items like salads, sandwiches, fruit, and parfaits, follow safety standards, and may cross-train in cashier or maintenance roles while assisting teammates across shifts.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Ability to interact with diverse customers in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn and follow company policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide general customer service for deli customers and assist cashier team with cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Prepare deli products per guides (salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups).
• Follow food safety procedures and company policies.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier and Maintenance.
• Lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.


• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.


• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.


• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.


• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
