Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops is looking for a Kitchen Team Member to assist in the deli, serve customers, and keep the area clean and stocked. No prior experience required; training will be provided to teach you our recipes and procedures.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, interact with diverse customers, and contribute to a friendly, efficient store experience. We offer benefits after 30 days, tuition assistance, and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products such as salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Follow company policies and food safety procedures to maintain proper conditions.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, or Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
