Job summary

Schlotzsky’s is hiring Kitchen Team Members for a fast-paced, team-oriented deli environment. You’ll prepare and stock stations, assemble sandwiches, pizzas, and salads with fresh ingredients, and follow food-safety standards.

This role offers full- or part-time schedules, flexible hours, meal discounts, and opportunities to advance as you learn. No grill or fryers required, and training is provided to the right candidates.

Qualifications

• Are 16 or older.
• A positive attitude and a team-first mindset.
• Dependability and punctuality.
• Attention to quality, presentation, and consistency.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and take direction.
• Previous restaurant experience is a plus but not required — we’ll train the right people!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock workstations with fresh ingredients and supplies
• Assemble sandwiches, pizzas, and salads with accuracy, speed, and attention to detail
• Operate deli equipment including ovens and prep tools (no open-flame cooking involved)
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards to keep a clean and organized kitchen
• Communicate effectively with teammates to ensure smooth and efficient service
• Support daily prep routines to maintain product freshness and quality
• Assist with inventory, restocking, and kitchen cleanliness throughout the shift
