Job summary

Heinen’s is seeking a Retail Professional to contribute to our Diamond Difference standards at our Illinois locations. You will prioritize daily work, learn the Grocery Department, and write orders while collaborating with teammates to stock, rotate, and merchandise.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings. Benefits include solid scheduling and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Produce accurate orders and maintain accuracy in fast-paced environment.
• Be production driven with the ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing.
• Willingness to work non-traditional five-day schedule including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Acquire and share knowledge of Grocery Department.
• Responsible for writing orders using effective pars and planning.
• Work as a team to complete daily tasks including scanning, recording shrink, order writing, stocking, rotating, and merchandising.
• Attend corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
