Job summary

Southern Rock Restaurants is seeking a Back of the House Team Member for McAlister’s Deli location. You will prepare quality food in a clean, fast-paced environment and ensure orders are read and executed accurately.

You will work with a team to maintain cleanliness, food safety, and high standards while preparing ingredients according to recipes and portion controls. Training is provided for those new to the role, with emphasis on teamwork and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, positive, and team-oriented.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Able to stand, bend, and lift during shifts.
• Restaurant experience is helpful, but full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and menu items using recipes and portion standards.
• Read orders and prepare food accurately and efficiently.
• Keep food preparation areas, equipment, and stations clean and stocked.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
