Job summary

California Chicken Café is seeking team members for our kitchen to prepare scratch-made recipes and keep the back of house clean and organized. You will follow production lists, read and execute recipes, and ensure foods are labeled and stored according to health regulations.

A strong focus on safety and teamwork is required in a fast-paced setting. Must be 18+, pass the CA Food Handlers course, and complete the Road to Success training within the first month.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must attend California Chicken Café Road to Success class within first month of hire.
• Able to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare scratch-made recipes as directed.
• Maintain clean, sanitized kitchen and stocked workspace.
• Follow production lists accurately and efficiently.
• Read, comprehend, and execute recipes.
• Store and label foods per Health Department regulations.
