Job summary

Fire Bowl Café in Austin, TX is hiring Back of House Team Members to support line, prep, and wok stations across Arbor and Lakeline locations. This full-time role offers $12–$14 per hour plus tips and a benefits package.

You’ll prepare ingredients, follow recipes, and keep the kitchen clean and organized while working in a fast-paced team. Flexible scheduling, free meals, and opportunities to learn multiple kitchen positions are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Kitchen experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining quality
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Follow recipes, instructions, and sanitation guidelines
• Stand for long periods and handle kitchen physical demands
• Flexible scheduling including days, nights, weekends, holidays
• Food Handler’s Certification or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and food items according to recipes and standards
• Work at line, prep, and wok stations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and food-safe kitchen
• Keep stations stocked and communicate shortages
• Support kitchen operations during busy periods
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards including FIFO procedures
