Job summary

Vicious Biscuit is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to join our fast‑casual breakfast spot. This role rotates across back‑of‑house stations—sauté, fry, biscuit build, prep, and dishwashing—ensuring high food quality and smooth operations.

You’ll prep and cook to recipes, operate equipment safely, plate orders to our standards, and keep the kitchen clean and stocked. Weekend availability is required, and growth opportunities exist as we expand.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Available to work weekends.
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Food safety and alcohol certifications within 30 days of hire are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across back-of-house stations: sauté, fry, biscuit build, prep, and dishwashing.
• Prep and cook food to recipe, with consistent portioning and quality.
• Operate cooking equipment safely and monitor food temps.
• Plate and assemble orders to presentation standards.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and stocked.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and waste-handling procedures.
• Communicate with the front-of-house team to keep service flowing.

What You Need

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Available to work weekends
• Eligible to work in the U.S.
• Food safety and alcohol certifications within 30 days of hire (holding either at hire is a plus)
• Basic cooking knowledge and food safety awareness a plus — not required
