Job summary

Dash In is hiring Kitchen Team Members in Wilmington, DE. This role focuses on cooking and food prep in a high-volume, 24/7 retail kitchen environment.

You will ensure freshness, comply with safety standards, and support a fast-paced team dedicated to delivering great guest experiences. The position offers full-time or part-time hourly hours with a starting wage of $16.50–$18.00 per hour plus an overnight premium of $1 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or ability to complete our company-paid GED program).
• 1 year of food service experience; line cook or prep cook experience preferred.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation and quality standards to prepare meals.
• Monitor prep levels and ensure freshness and readiness to serve.
• Keep prep stations organized and restocked for efficiency.
• Receive deliveries and organize ingredients for cooking schedules.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and appearance for a safe, inviting environment.
• Engage with guests to provide a pleasant experience while in the restaurant.
• Operate food service equipment safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year offood service experience, line cook or prep cook experience preferred
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• ActiveServSafecertification, or a similar qualification
• Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
