Job summary

Love’s Travel Stops in California is hiring a Kitchen Team Member to brighten customers’ days with friendly service while keeping the deli area clean and stocked. No experience? We’ll train you.

You’ll prepare deli items, assist with store cashier tasks, and may cross-train in other departments. You must be able to lift 25 pounds and work in varying temperatures. Benefits include $20.00–$25.00 per hour, tuition assistance, PTO, flexible scheduling, 401(k) match up to 5%, and

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs.
• Assist store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars.
• Accurately prepare deli products such as salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, wraps, parfait cups.
• Follow food safety procedures and company policies using designated preparation guides.
• Cross-train in other departments like Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
