Job summary

Love's Travel Stops in Lost Hills, CA is hiring a Kitchen Team Member. You will interact with customers, maintain a clean, stocked deli, and provide top-notch service. No experience—we will teach you!

You’ll prepare deli items, assist in the cafe and deli areas, and may cross-train in other roles. This role requires lifting 25+ pounds and working in various temperatures. Benefit- and growth-oriented environment with competitive pay.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and addressing customer needs.
• Assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed (salads, fresh-cut fruit, sandwiches, parfait cups, etc.).
• Follow company policies and food safety procedures.
• Cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.

Job Functions:

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross-training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
