Love's Travel Stops in Berthoud, CO is seeking a Kitchen Team Member to assist customers, stock the deli, and support the cashier team with a clean, efficient workspace.

No experience? No problem—we provide training. You will prepare salads, sandwiches, fruit, and parfait cups while following food safety guidelines in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• General customer service duties including answering questions about menu offerings and assisting store cashier team members with deli cleanup.
• Prepare deli products like salads, sandwiches, wraps, fruit cups, and parfaits per guidelines.
• Follow policies to maintain proper food safety and sanitation throughout the shift.
• Cross-train in other departments such as Store Cashier or Facility Maintenance as needed.
• Lift 25+ pounds and work in varying temperatures.

As a Kitchen Team Member, your role goes beyond daily tasks. You will interact with people from all walks of life, brightening their day with top-notch customer service and maintaining a clean, stocked deli area. No experience? No problem! We will teach you!

Job Functions

• General customer service duties including, but not limited to, answering questions about menu offerings, and addressing customer needs. Additionally, assisting store cashier team members in cleaning and maintaining the deli, coffee, and fountain bars with fresh offerings throughout the shift.
• Accurately prepare deli products as instructed in designated preparation guides to include salads, fresh-cut fruit, cold/hot sandwiches and wraps, parfait cups, etc.
• Use a variety of methods and technologies to ensure we follow company policies and procedures to maintain proper food safety conditions.
• Additional duties could include cross‑training in other departments such as Store Cashier, Restaurant Cashier, Facility Maintenance, and Leadership Roles.
• Ability to move, lift 25+ pounds. Ability to work in various temperatures.
