Job summary

Kneaders Bakery and Cafe is seeking a part-time Kitchen Team Member to join our team. You’ll be part of a dynamic group preparing from-scratch bread and pastries, and crafting soups, salads, and sandwiches with honest ingredients.

You will help ensure quality, safety, and consistent service in a fast-paced kitchen; the position offers a competitive hourly wage and room for growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Must maintain compliance with local, state, and federal food-handler and sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule; shifts vary by customer traffic and season.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and perform essential job functions.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items per Kneaders’ recipes and specifications.
• Support other kitchen and front-of-house tasks as needed while maintaining quality and food safety standards.

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a Kitchen Team Member who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, & community as we are! In the role of Kitchen Team Member, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.
A successful Back of House Kitchen Team Member at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A \"can do\" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked
  

A successful Back of House Kitchen Team Member at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Back of House Kitchen Team Member shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
