Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a Kitchen Team Member who is passionate about food quality, customer service, and community. You will work with a dynamic team to craft from-scratch breads, pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches using honest ingredients.

The role emphasizes a positive, can-do attitude, fast and accurate prep, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Evening/weekend availability is required; Sundays are closed across all Kneaders locations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work quickly and accurately per specification.
• Understand how to multitask and help other departments.
• Compliant with local, state, and federal food-handling and sanitation rules.
• Able to stand for long periods and perform essential duties with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in kitchen prep and assembly of menu items.
• Support bakery production from scratch breads and pastries to soups, salads, and sandwiches.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen workstations and equipment.

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is currently looking for a Kitchen Team Member who is as passionate about food quality, customer service, & community as we are! In the role of Kitchen Team Member, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team who offer a unique menu selection from scratch baked bread & pastries to incredible soups, salads, & sandwiches all made with honest, whole ingredients.

A successful Back of House Kitchen Team Member at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe must possess:

• A "can do" attitude- the ability to work quickly & confidently to prepare meal items accurately per specification
• Understand how to multitask- learn from mistakes & look for opportunities to step in & help other departments even before being asked

A successful Back of House Kitchen Team Member at Kneaders Bakery & Cafe need to be qualified with:

• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal regulations for food handler & sanitation standards
• Flexible schedule standards -- Back of House Kitchen Team Member shifts vary from week to week depending on customer traffic & time of year
• Requires continuous standing and walking throughout the shift, with limited opportunities for sitting. Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation is required
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
