Job summary

Dash In in Prince Frederick, MD is hiring Kitchen Team Members to join our Back of House crew in a 24/7 retail environment. Starting wage is $16.50 per hour with a $1 overnight premium. You will help craft meals and ensure top-notch service for guests.

As a Kitchen Associate, you'll follow food safety codes, keep prep areas tidy, stock supplies, operate equipment, and contribute to an outstanding guest experience while growing with our Dash In team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or company-paid GED program).
• Active ServeSafe certification or equivalent food-safety qualification.
• Tech-savvy with familiarity of POS software; multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Authorized to work in the United States; 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
• Monitor prep levels and maintain a clean, organized station.
• Restock and organize prep area; keep kitchen tidy.
• Operate kitchen equipment such as fryers and slicers.
• Assist in delivering a great guest experience and communicate with guests.
• Handle lifting of large containers (50–65 pounds) using proper technique.

Pay Rate: $16.50 - $18.00 (+$1 for overnight)

What We're Looking For:

• High School Diploma or GED (or the ability to complete our company-paid GED program)
• 1 year offood service experience, line cook or prep cook experience preferred
• Flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, and weekends
• Authorized to work in the United States and 18 years of age or older
• Successful completion of background check and drug screening

Ideal Candidates Will Also Have:

• ActiveServSafecertification, or a similar qualification
• Tech-savviness, including familiarity with POS software
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills
