Job summary

Chick-fil-A in Huntsville is seeking Kitchen Team Members to join a fast-paced Back of House team. You will prepare, cook, and present food safely while upholding Chick-fil-A standards and guest service. This role may be part-time or full-time depending on business needs.

Candidates must be at least 16, eligible to work in the United States, and able to lift 50 lbs with endurance for standing and long shifts. Training and growth opportunities are available across the restaurant network.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and accurately.
• Be knowledgeable of all kitchen stations and shift responsibilities.
• Stock inventory and keep the area organized.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to safety rules at all times.
• Stay updated on new Chick-fil-A products and procedures.
• Operate equipment safely and report maintenance needs.
• Complete in-house training and stay informed of changes.
• Assist with opening or closing tasks as assigned.

Kitchen Team Member Responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards
• Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep
• Stock kitchen inventory as needed
• Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times
• Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A
• Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership
• Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes
• Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned
• Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 16 years old
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Maintain a reliable source of transportation
• Demonstrate a "Safety First" mentality
• Consistent, reliable, and punctual
• Cheerful, positive attitude and customer-service oriented
• Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team environment
• Ability to work on Saturdays
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
