Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a deli/food preparation team member to craft sandwiches, pizzas, and other deli items, while ensuring quality and safety standards. You’ll support the hot bar, cooling cases, and grab-and-go setups, with emphasis on sanitation, accuracy, and customer assistance.

Responsibilities include following the plan‑ogram, preparing items for display, and maintaining equipment and work areas. A collaborative team environment and consistent attendance are essential.

Responsibilities

• Review work schedule and prep supplies at the start of shift.
• Produce and assemble deli items as per SOP and plan‑ogram.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, tools, and display cases.
• Complete food safety compliance logs daily.
• Assist customers and help with meat/deli items as needed.
• Prepare sandwiches, pizzas, and other deli offerings for the display.
• Assist with roasting, frying, and packaging processes.
• Monitor and record product quality and inventory levels.
• Organize sales floor cooler and freezer per SOP.
• Perform record-keeping and loss-tracking tasks as assigned.
