Job summary

Fajita Pete's in Flower Mound, TX is hiring immediately for Kitchen Team Members. Part-time and full-time, permanent positions are available. The role participates in the store tip pool, typically adding an extra $3/hr-$4/hr to pay.

A Kitchen Team Member plates orders and handles basic food prep for a specific station, while keeping the kitchen stocked and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with stocking line and walk-in along with setting up the kitchen stations following company standards.
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients.
• Cooking Fajitas, Platos, Caterings, and Desserts
• Plating prepared foods based on corporate guidelines
• Working with Leads and Managers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
• Washing and cleaning all kitchen and cooking utensils. Storing any equipment at the end of shifts.
• Always maintain the highest level of sanitation and cleanliness.
• Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

A Kitchen Team Member plates orders as well as completes basic food prepping tasks for a store. Their main duties include preparing and cooking food for a specific station, cleaning up prep areas and making sure the kitchen is stocked.

Kitchen Team Member duties and responsibilities

A Kitchen Team Member prepares food using recipes and menu items created by the Corporate Team.They are to keep the kitchen running smoothly and produce all guest orders in a timely fashion. Some of their key duties and responsibilities include:

• Assisting with stocking line and walk-in along with setting up the kitchen stations following company standards.
• Preparing food including cleaning and cutting the ingredients.
• Cooking Fajitas, Platos, Caterings, and Desserts
• Plating prepared foods based on corporate guidelines
• Working with Leads and Managers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time

• Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
• Maintain Corporate gold standards for Prepped items, Plated items, and Catered items
• Always have a guest centric mentality and go above and beyond for every order no matter the size
• Rotate stock and fresh prep all vegetables daily
• Complete all side following prep to build and prep to peak lists
• Portion all items correctly following the corporate issued plating guides
• Complete all other tasks as assigned by the management team
