The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Kansas City, MO is seeking a hands-on Kitchen Supervisor to oversee beneficiaries, manage inventory and menus, and coordinate canteen operations as part of our rehabilitation program.

You will train staff on safety, supervise daily tasks, and ensure Health Department compliance while sourcing donations and maintaining supplies. This role includes evenings and weekends as scheduled.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe and Allergen training certifications required.

Responsabilidades

• Train beneficiaries on Kitchen Safety and Compliance protocols.
• Supervise daily work therapy performance, including cooking and cleaning.
• Provide regular feedback and direction to beneficiaries.
• Ensure compliance with Health Department policies.
• Create and update menus using Cycle Menu Management System.
• Maximize use of donated goods and manage inventories.
• Generate timely orders based on stock and needs.
• Source and coordinate food donations.
• Monitor canteen sales and card tracking.
• Prepare for regular inspections.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Supervisor on all operations.
