Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic, experienced Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. This role is hands-on and focuses on leading the kitchen staff to uphold service standards and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education.
• Minimum of two years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, monitors and coaches department staff.
• Directs and assigns employees to ensure service meets standards.
• Oversee food and beverage operations in absence of the F&B Manager.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Reinforces customer service and focuses on guest satisfaction.
• Resolves guest requests promptly and respectfully.
• Performs other duties as assigned by F&B Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises, trains, monitors and coaches department staff
• Directs and assigns employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards
• Oversee food and beverage operations in absence of the F&B Manager
• Performs department opening and/or closing duties
• Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times
• Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests
• Perform various other duties as assigned by F&B Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of two (2) years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally
• Team player
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work flexible hours and shifts
• Knowledge of local alcohol serving practices and standards
• Knowledge of federal and state labor laws as well as local health and sanitation laws and regulations
