Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking an energetic Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in a fast-paced food and beverage setting, overseeing operations when the F&B Manager is unavailable and coaching staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

The position requires at least two years of shift-leading restaurant/bar experience, High School diploma, and preferred alcohol-awareness certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School education.
• Minimum of two years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision.
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, trains, monitors and coaches department staff.
• Directs and assigns employees to meet service standards.
• Oversee food and beverage operations in absence of the F&B Manager.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties for the department.
• Reinforces customer service mentality to focus on guest satisfaction.
• Resolves guest requests promptly and respectfully.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the F&B Manager.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervises, trains, monitors and coaches department staff
• Directs and assigns employees as needed to ensure all aspects of service meet operational standards
• Oversee food and beverage operations in absence of the F&B Manager
• Performs department opening and/or closing duties
• Reinforces a customer service mentality and ensures all employees are focused on serving the customer at all times
• Immediately and respectfully resolves guest requests
• Perform various other duties as assigned by F&B Manager

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of High School education
• Minimum of two (2) years in restaurant/bar experience leading shifts without supervision
• Alcohol awareness certification preferred

KNO WLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Knowledge of local alcohol serving practices and standards
