Job summary

Heritage Restaurant Group in Albuquerque, NM, is seeking a part-time kitchen/dish staff member to support our culinary team. The role starts at $13.00 per hour, with tips and benefits, working at Sawmill Market location.

Candidates must be able to stand for long shifts, lift 30+ pounds, and maintain a clean, efficient workstation. Benefits include employee discounts across Heritage hotels, restaurants, spa and retail, complimentary meals during shifts, and free employee parking.

Qualifications

• Current NM Food Handler Certification required.
• Must stand 8+ hours in a humid kitchen.
• Able to lift/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
• Experience in high-volume or fine-dining kitchens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work under direction of Executive Chef or Sous Chef.
• Communicate daily with Kitchen leadership regarding job assignments and timeframe.
• Maintain a positive, professional attitude with coworkers and guests.
• Set up workstations before meal prep begins.
• Load, run, and unload dishwashing machines.
• Ensure sufficient clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Sanitize kitchen area, including the floor.
• Remove garbage regularly.
