Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. in Glen Ellyn, IL is seeking a dedicated kitchen and dining aide to maintain a clean, orderly environment and support residents with dining services.

You will wash, sanitize, and store dishes and equipment, assist cooks and wait staff, and ensure a safe, sanitary kitchen. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills are required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the kitchen and dining areas in a clean and orderly condition.
• Wash, clean, sanitize and store all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and other equipment.
• Maintain dish room area in a neat, clean and sanitary manner.
• Keep kitchen floors clean (sweeps and mops) and trash emptied.
• Assist with preparation and execution of dining programs and special events.
• Assist cooks and wait staff as requested.
• Adhere to cleaning schedules and food safety practices.
• May perform other duties as needed.
