Boyd Gaming is seeking Kitchen Stewards to join our dining hall team. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen facilities and ensure compliance with health regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities include dishwashing, taking care of equipment, proper chemical handling, and supporting kitchen staff. Candidates should have a high school diploma and at least 6 months in kitchen stewarding, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, hot kitchen and pass background checks.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months experience in kitchen stewarding or related food service operations.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and sanitation standards.
• Understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe application.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hot kitchen environment.
• Basic English communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Teamwork and collaboration.
• Must be age or older and pass background/drug screening.
• Flexibility to work various shifts.

Responsabilidades

• Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness of the entire kitchen area through regular sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing.
• Organize and store clean dishes and equipment in designated areas.
• Monitor dish machine cleanliness and functionality.
• Handle and dispose of trash according to established procedures.
• Support kitchen staff with clean equipment and supplies as needed.
• Ensure proper chemical handling and storage.
• Maintain compliance with health department regulations and food safety standards.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Keep work areas organized and clutter-free.
• Report any equipment malfunctions to supervisors.
• Participate in required training programs and safety meetings.
