Job summary

Hilton Scottsdale Resort and Villas in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a Steward to support culinary and service teams by maintaining clean and organized kitchen work areas and ensuring proper care of equipment and utensils.

You will perform dishwashing, surface sanitizing, trash disposal, stock rotation, and assist with banquet setup while working in a fast-paced hospitality environment committed to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Experience in stewarding, kitchen support, or hospitality preferred.
• Familiarity with commercial dishwashing equipment and cleaning procedures a plus.
• Team-oriented in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors regularly.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, and glassware by hand or using dishwashing equipment.
• Clean and sanitize worktables, walls, refrigerators, and other kitchen surfaces.
• Properly dispose of trash and garbage; clean and maintain garbage cans.
• Sort and process bottles and other recyclables.
• Polish silverware and utensils as needed.
• Transport supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assist with banquet table setup when required.
• Wash and peel vegetables or assist with basic food prep as needed.
• Store and rotate stock in designated areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
• Other duties as assigned.
