Job summary

The Scottsdale Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking a full-time dishwasher/kitchen steward to support cooks and service staff. You will transport and clean utensils and service ware, ensuring available equipment for guests’ dining experiences and maintaining a sanitary kitchen environment.

Responsibilities include operating the dish machine, cleaning kettles and pans, and performing routine cleaning per health standards.

Qualifications

• Hold a current Food Handler Card.
• Knowledge of service ware and how to maintain same in order to compliment guest experience.
• Ability to operate commercial kitchen dish machine in accordance with hotel and health department standards.
• Ability to comprehend and apply written product labeling instructions to enable the safe application of products and processes within the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Transport and clean cooking utensils and service ware to provide equipment for cooks, bus persons and servers.
• Maintain clean dish machine and area to hotel standards.
• Clean kettles, skillets, pots and pans promptly so cooks can work efficiently.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard cleaning products as assigned.
• Keep floors clean to prevent slips and falls.
• Assist other kitchen personnel as needed.
