Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required unless waived by Human Resources.
• Basic understanding of ware washing and sanitation equipment.
• Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background check, gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Wash and stock all china, silver, glassware, pots and pans.
• Use approved chemicals in all cleaning tasks during the shift.
• Keep floors, walls, and drains in dishwashing areas clean and dry.
• Identify safety hazards on the floor or in kitchen areas and take action.
• Ensure food and beverage floors remain dry at all times.
• Operate sanitation equipment such as pressure washers and floor cleaning machines.
• Communicate tasks to Steward Supervisors and Executive Steward.
• Replenish silverware, glassware, and plates in kitchen line areas.
• Maintain clean back-of-house restaurant areas and follow cleaning schedules.
• Present a professional appearance and courteous demeanor to guests and staff.
• Participate in departmental meetings and adhere to health, safety policies.
