Job summary

Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA seeks a Steward to support our kitchen by handling deliveries, moving foods and keeping areas clean and sanitary. The role requires reliability, physical stamina and teamwork to help maintain smooth kitchen operations.

You’ll work with kitchen staff to ensure equipment is clean, stocked and ready for service, and you may assist chefs during meal prep. The position offers a friendly environment and flexible scheduling with park perks.

Qualifications

• Driving ability and operation of both automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and cohesively as part of a team.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
• Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, per Company policy, unless prohibited by law.

Responsibilities

• Accepts deliveries and relocates foods, beverages, and supplies to proper locations within Knott’s Berry Farm.
• Maintains kitchen and surrounding areas in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Ensures equipment and dishes are cleaned, sanitized and ready to prepare and serve food.
• Sanitizes counters, stovetops and other food prep areas to meet health regulations.
• Assists kitchen managers in managing inventory by organizing storage and identifying when items need ordering.
• Receives and unpacks deliveries, ensuring proper placement of food and supplies.
• Sweeps and mops floors, empties trash cans, changes liners and keeps food storage organized.
• Ensures ovens, refrigerators, mixers and other cooking equipment are in working order.
• Assists chefs and cooks in meal prep by washing, peeling and cutting ingredients.
