Qualifications

• Experience in kitchen sanitation, dishwashing, or food service support.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene protocols and health code regulations.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently as well as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Adhere to all facility safety standards and procedures.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment and machinery.
• Previous experience in a high-volume food service operation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, including surfaces, equipment, and floors, per health and safety regulations.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishware.
• Manage kitchen waste disposal and recycling procedures in line with facility standards.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on kitchen equipment and report issues to management.
• Assist with food preparation areas and ensure proper organization of kitchen supplies and inventory.
• Support kitchen staff by maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Respond promptly to requests from kitchen and dining service staff.
• Maintain personal hygiene and wear protective equipment at all times.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support operational excellence.
