Job summary

Pueblo of Sandia is seeking a dishwashing/food service team member to support all food and beverage outlets. You will wash and sanitize pots, pans and utensils, maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, and assist with storage and basic kitchen duties.

Requirements include being at least 18, NM Food Handlers course within 30 days of hire, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Regular attendance and a professional demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background check.
• Experience in restaurant or food service preferred.
• Completion of NM Food Handlers course within 30 days of hire.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Wash pots, pans and utensils and store properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing area and equipment.
• Sanitize ware, floors, coolers and freezers as required.
• Refill dishwasher chemicals and tidy storage racks.
• Assist in arranging food and dry storage items.
• Attend daily stand-up meetings and complete training.
• Follow safety, hygiene and attendance policies.
