Smokymountains in the Hilton Knoxville Airport Hotel is looking for a dedicated Dishwasher to join the kitchen staff and help maintain a clean, sanitary environment. You will collect used dishes, load dishwashers, and stack washed items to ensure smooth service.

Responsibilities include unloading machines, hand-washing select items, storing clean ware, and ensuring a steady supply of clean dishes during peak hours. The role requires attention to sanitation and willingness to work flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks, as needed.
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules.
• Availability to work in shifts, during weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
• Load and unload dishwashing machines.
• Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots).
• Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately.
• Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours.
• Check washing machines' operation and promptly report any issues.
• Remove garbage regularly.
• Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
