Job summary

Berkshire East Ski Resort is seeking a reliable dishwashing attendant to support the kitchen team. You will wash dishes, pots, and utensils, maintain cleanliness, and assist with basic cleaning tasks.

This role involves standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working late afternoons, nights, weekends, and holidays. Training provided and opportunities to grow with the team. A strong work ethic and positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• High energy and stamina required.
• Able to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively.
• Must read labels on chemicals and follow product directives.
• Able to identify and perform other tasks during non-busy times.
• Must understand and follow workplace safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Sort and rinse dirty dishes and place them in racks of dish machine.
• Wash pots, pans, trays and other large cooking containers by hand.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and deliver them to appropriate areas.
• Fill and empty sinks with proper cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Perform other general restaurant cleaning duties as directed.
• Wipe up spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dry.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
