Job summary

The Grand Hotel Golf Resort & Spa, Autograph Collection on the Alabama Gulf Coast is hiring a dedicated Steward (Dishwasher) to keep our kitchen clean and compliant with top sanitation standards. You will support a bustling culinary team across multiple stations, handle dishwashing machinery, and help maintain a smooth, welcoming dining environment for guests.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and 1–3 months of kitchen or related experience.

Responsibilities

• Dishwashing duties: scrape and pre-clean dishes before loading into the dishwashing machine.
• Operate dishwashing machinery and ensure proper loading and cleaning solutions.
• Hand wash pots, pans, and other cookware for cleanliness.
• Sweep and mop floors; address spills promptly.
• Clean and polish kitchen equipment, walls, racks, sinks, and disposal areas.
• Perform scheduled deep-cleaning tasks (ovens, hoods, filters, vents).
• Transfer and organize supplies between storage and work areas.
• Restock paper towels, soap and cleaning supplies across kitchen stations.
• Empty trash bins over three-quarters full, ensuring sanitation.
• Support Back Aisle or other kitchen roles as needed; operate silver de-tarnishing equipment.
