Job summary

Daily duties involve cleaning hoods, sinks, floors, and work areas, monitoring chemicals, and collaborating with Catering, Banquets, Outlets and Maintenance to ensure quality service.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• This job requires ability to perform the following:
• Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 75 pounds
• Standing up and moving about the kitchen or other designated areas
• Handling, objects, products, chemicals, cleaning supplies and utensils
• Bending, stooping, kneeling

Responsibilities

• Set up work station and prepare dish machine, gather equipment and replenish as needed.
• Rinse and scrape all dishes and operate the dishwashing machine per manufacturer specs.
• Place clean dishes in assigned storage locations and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
• Clean designated equipment (hoods, filters, tables, carts, ovens, sinks) and dispose of kitchen waste properly.
• Monitor chemical levels and water temperature; report hazards to supervisor.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with Catering, Banquets, Outlets, and Maintenance.
